No Greater Love
October 13: On Giving

1. The opening story of the mother (who upon receiving a gift of food to feed her family of eight children, divided the food in half and gave it to a hungry neighbor) was testimony to her own generous heart. Name a time where you've either witnessed such an act, been part of such an act, or a time when you could have been part of such an act but choose not to and regretted it.

2. Mother Teresa talks about experiencing the joy of giving, and not necessarily money or riches. What are some ways you've experienced the joy of giving without giving money?

3. page 45 - "Do not be surprised or become preoccupied at each other's failure; rather see and find the good in each other, for each one of us is created in the image of God....Therefore, let us be extremely patient with each other's faults and failures." Where and/or when in your life and/or ministry is this hardest to remember?

4. page 45 - "We tell people how kind, forgiving, and understanding God is, but are we the living proof? Can they really see this kindness, this forgiveness, this understanding alive in us?" Thoughts?
